SAFE TRAVEL AND TRANSIT
SCRIPTURE
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out (Deuteronomy 28:6).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
There is probably not one person who doesn’t think about travel safety. Even non-believers think about their safety and will look at natural ways to ensure they reach every destination safely. We all do important things like wear seatbelts, obey traffic laws, and so forth, but those of us who know God can also rely on the power of prayer to keep us safe as we come and go. Deuteronomy 28:6 reminds us of God’s promise to provide travel safety. We can decree and ask the Lord to provide safety from the moment we leave our front door each day and expect that to rest upon us until we return and thereafter. Expecting heavenly protection as we go about life whether by car or some other method of travel is a biblical promise that we should regularly declare and think upon. Wake up each day expecting to reach every destination in safety and peace, not only for yourself but also for your loved ones!
